Our QuGen hpTET enzymes oxidize epigenetic 5mC with extreme efficacy to 5caC. The hpTET3 double mutant stops the oxidation under our proprietary conditions at 5hmC and 5fdC. The formed 5cadC and 5hmdC can be directly SMRT long-read sequenced.

The QuGen enzymes are fully compatible with all other TET-bases sequencing technologies such as TABS-Seq. and CLEVER-Seq. By using the QuGen TET3 enzymes you will get better oxidation yields with much less enzyme and in a reduced amount of time. We offer special oxidation buffers that allow efficient oxidation of 5mC to 5caC even in non-CpG contexts for long-read non-CpG epigenetic 5mC and 5hmC sequencing.

The QuGen enzymes will be shipped on dry ice in 0.1mg or 1 mg batches with a detailed description for storage and handling. The enzymes are stable at -80°C for a year and can be kept for weeks at -20°C.
